M Rated Games – How much is too much?

If you know me, you probably know that I am an avid gamer. You also may know that I am very strict about which games I play. I believe that playing videogames is fine and that a certain amount of realism but there are too many video games out there that go way too far. I believe there is no need for blood in games. Nor is it right to have games so full of cussing and drugs. I agree that video games are a big contributer to school violence and school shootings. But it doesn’t have to be this way.

I want to know you honest opinion about violence in games. Tell me about it!

Thinkgeek Spotlight – Star Trek

I forgot I had this category. I had originaly planned on having a thinkgeek spotlight every month but that did not work. I think I will try agian.

Ok here we go. This spotlight has a theme – Star Trek! the definition of geeklyness (hey I think I just invented a word!)

Star Trek: 40th Aniversary Phaser

This is a nifty little type II phaser that has a detachable Type I phaser in it. It has lights and sounds. The only problem is it is not real. (awww….)

Red Shirt
Everybody who knows star trek knows the man in the red shirt will always die. Hopefully it is diffrent in “real life” but I am not sure I want to take any chances.
