Today was the first pep-rally of the year. 
I like school. I enjoy learning. Math and Science are fun to me. However, I cannot stand it when there is some idiot in the back of class yelling “When am I ever gonna use this stuff? I is gonna work in da saw mill all my life. I don’t need no math no how.” This disgusts me! To make matters worse most of these “Anti-Intellectuals” are on the football team.
So basically the school makes us sacrifice our 15 minuet break and most of fourth block so that we can cheer for these idiots who disrupt class? NO WAY! I am not gonna cheer for these guys.
Pep-rallies are sending a message that brawn rules over brain. That cheering for a bunch of guys who tackle each other is more important than a good education. That seems like a pretty pathetic message for a school to be sending out.
BTW, I know I have probably made some grammer mistakes. I am a math and science geek not a grammer nerd. [no offense to grammar nerds]
