This is an intervention.
Earl has started a new site, a third site! I mean it was bad enough when dragonwing (or whatever we call him this week) decided to change blogs every week. But now this??!!!
You cannot just abandon your old blog! What would we do? <sarcasm> visit your new one? </sarcasm> Think about it. I don’t visit dragonnose’s blog hardly ever cause I never know where it is. (No offince Dragonguy)
And don’t even say that you are not gonna change blogs every 2.37days like the dragoness cause that is what they all say. Blog swapping is addictive (just ask dragonmonkey) Besides, your old blog rocked out loud!
I know the post thingy is broken. But trust me, we can find a way to fix it!
Come on back, man. Your blog needs you.

Well, I hope you all had a great International Talk like a Pirate Day. (It was Wednesday)
I am sorry I forgot to post on that day, but I am gonna make it up with these quotes:
5. The average man will bristle if you say his father was dishonest, but he will brag a little if he discovers that his great-grandfather was a pirate. ~Bern Williams
4. It is when pirates count their booty that they become mere thieves. ~ William Bolitho
3. Even pirates, before they attack another ship, hoist a black flag. ~ Bela Kiraly
2. Merchant and pirate were for a long period one and the same person. Even today mercantile morality is really nothing but a refinement of piratical morality. ~ Friedrich Nietzsche
1. Now and then we had a hope that if we lived and were good, God would permit us to be pirates.” ~ Mark Twain
Oh yeah! And I did not quote Pirates of the Carebian once!
Here is a list of emotions that will work on my site: http://codex.wordpress.org/Using_Smilies
Hope you enjoy them!!!
My other site, James’s Junkyard, has finally gotten a well deserved update. I have completely changed the look and structure of the site. I am now working on updating the content!

At a press conference the Brunettes announce they are going to make a trip to the Moon. The Redheads speak up “That’s been done before, we’re going to go to Mars”. The Blondes speak up “That’s nothing, we’re going to be the first people to go to the Sun”. One of the reporters says “Don’t you idiots know that you’ll burn up?” The Blondes say “NO WE WON’T; WE’RE GOING TO GO AT NIGHT!”

Oh and BTW, please do not get mad at me if you are blonde. It is just a joke!

Ok, Originally I was gonna wait till I was finished with the game before I wrote about it, but I just could not wait! (I am only 13% complete at the time of writing)
This is probably the best FPS experience I have ever had. Technically, Nintendo calls Metroid Prime a First Person Adventure because of its strong focus on exploration but that is irrelevant.
As the game started I was on a space station that kinda acted as a tutorial. As I made my way through the station I was blown away form the sheer awesomeness of this game. The first thing I noticed was that I could scan just about anything. I had initially expected the scan feature to be really gimmicky and that I would only be able to use it a couple of times…I was wrong! I could scan computers and get information off of them or scan space pirates to find out info on them. Most things in this game don’t have to be scanned but it is so fun!
As I made my way to the end of the space station I came to the first boss fight. Basically, it was awesome. After the battle was over the red alert went off that the ship was about to explode. I had to get back out of the space station before time was up.
After I escaped the station, I watched a quick cutscene then down to the planet below. The graphics blew me away. They were awesome for a gamecube game. (Heck, they were awesome regardless of the game system) I was in a beautiful jungle like area. Before I knew it I was in a more desert like area. As I progressed I gained access to an underground facility filled with lava. And after a bit I was immersed in a beautiful arctic area.
The game play is solid so far. It has the action of a FPS while staying true to the series. The Morphball is very fun. (probably better than in the other games) The control system works well despite being unlike most FPS games. There are jump puzzles which, although annoying at times, are better that you would expect.
Metriod Prime i, so far, one of the best games I have ever played and the best eight bucks I ever spent! I can’t wait to get the other three weapons and the other two visors.
Btw, I will write a review of the game when I am finished. I, however, am not guaranteeing that it will be longer than this one and, if I am feeling really lazy I may recycle parts of this one.

5. He that waits upon fortune is never sure of a dinner. ~Benjamin Franklin
4. I used to love mathematics for its own sake, and I still do, because it allows for no hypocrisy and no vagueness…. ~Stendhal (Henri Beyle), The Life of Henri Brulard
3. Common sense and a sense of humor are the same thing, moving at different speeds. A sense of humor is just common sense, dancing. ~William James
2. I don’t think America will have really made it until we have our own salad dressing. Until then we’re stuck behind the French, Italians, Russians and Caesarians. ~Pat McNelis
1. Whenever you find yourself on the side of the majority, it is time to pause and reflect. ~Mark Twain
And here is a couple bonuses
I believe mirrors are a gateway to another reality, but we just keep getting in the way-Chris
The poets have been mysteriously silent on the subject of cheese. ~G.K. Chesterton [I think I used this on my old pen2u blog]
