Lost in Translation

Do you remember the telephone game? (or gossip game or whatever it was called) You would whisper something to the person next to you. The person next to you would whisper it to the person next to him/her. That person would then whisper it to his/her neighbor and so on until it was whispered to the last person, who would then say it out loud. Remember how the message never ended how it started?

Well, someone got the idea to do that with bablefish. (a site that translates messages into different laungages)

He created a program that would take the original text and translate it to French then, translate it back to English then, translate it to German then, translate it back to English then, translate it to Italian then, translate it back to English then, translate it to Portuguese then, translate it back to English then, translate it to Spanish then, translate it back to English! Whew! That is a lot of translating!!!

The results are hilarious!

Original English Text:
James has the best blog in the world. It is full of useless information that is sure to make you happy.

Translated to French:
James a le meilleur blog dans le monde. Il est plein
d'information inutile qui est sûre de vous rendre heureux.

Translated back to English:
James has best the blog in the world. He is full with useless

Translated to German:
James hat gut das blog in der Welt. Er ist mit unbrauchbaren
Informationen voll, die sicher ist, zu Ihnen zurückzugehen
glücklich.

Translated back to English:
James has well blog in the world. It is lucky with useless information
fully, which is safe, to you to decrease/go back.

Translated to Italian:
James ha blog buono nel mondo. È fortunato con le informazioni
inutili completamente, che sono sicuri, a voi a decrease/go sostiene.

Translated back to English:
James has blog good in the world. It is fortunate with the useless
information completely, that they are sure, to you to decrease/go
supports.

Translated to Portuguese:
