Happy October the 30th!
Well, tommorow is Hallowenn! I am volunteering at the local coffe shop’s halloween thing they are throwing for the children. Its going to be great.
But it already feels like Halloween! I came onto campus today, and all the leaves had fallen off the trees, leaving them bare. (it would not be freaky, but I swear they were all there on wensday) The sky is dark and cloudy, and the library is having a halloween thing. I just finished visiting all the sections and collecting all my candy…boy, I love candy.

Ahhh….I love the fall
Ahhh…I love the fall. I don’t know if the calendar says it is officialy fall yet, but as far as I am concerned it started yesterday. After what seemed like an eternity of rainy days, we had out first sunny day, the air was cool and a gentle breeze was blowing. Today, more of the perfect weather. The leaves are starting to fall. This is my favroite season.
Time to start getting ready for halloween! 
Stargate Universe Trailer
Above is the official trailer for Stargate Universe, the new series set to debut on October 2nd. It is supposed to be more “dark” and “edgy” than prevous series. Personally, it does not look as good as atlantis and SG1 to me. It looks more like something Earl would watch. (no offence Earl) I am hoping that this series will be good. It is stargate after all, and the eli character is supposed to be funny. (making SW refrences and whatnot)
I can’t wait until Oct. 9th to find out what its like.

Music on the Ocarina
In addition to being a huge fan of Zelda, I also happen to be a fan of the Ocarina. It makes the most beautiful sounds. There is a man on youtube who goes by docjazz4, who has put up some amazing ocarina music. Some of the music if from the zelda games, some of it is not. He has also put up things like tutorials on how to choose your first ocarina. I am putting a few of his videos up here so I can share his beautiful music with you. The song above this post is storm’s end, a song written by Docjazz4, and the song below is the Song of Time, written by someone at nintendo or something.

College Life so far
Ok, so I have school on Mondays, Wensdays, and Fridays. I have work on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays. (been busy at work) Plus, homework…
…yeah, I have not had much free time now that I am in college, but the blogging shall continue!
Um, ok I don’t have anything really entertaining to say, so I suppose I will ramble on about my classes.
Psycology: Ok, there is a lot of required reading in this class. It is quite interesting, but the professor confuses me a little bit. But I think I shall do ok.
English: I wonder if my professor did not used to be a cheerleader or something. She is uber cheerfull and verry hyper. She comes into class bragging about her new shoes and telling funny stories. It looks as though this is going to be a very entertaining class. No clue how the work is yet, as we have not really had any assignments yet.
Lunch: Wow, the GUC has a pizza hut, a sandwich shop and more!….yum
History: Ok, this is a good class. The subject is interesting, I enjoy the required reading, and the teacher is funny. His lectures are riddled with little jokes. A lot of note taking, but thats history.
Math: This class definitley takes a lot of thought. The teacher explains stuff well, for the most part. But I have alreadly learned that if you ask for help on a question, you have to explain how you would try to solve it to the whole class, then he tells the class what your doing wrong.
…and thats about it…I shall blog more later!
Well, tomorrow is the big day. I shall start my freshman year at UNA (That’s the university of north Alabama, for those who may not know) I am so nervous I can’t hardly think straight, but I am looking forward to it. Its kind of odd, because I feel as though after today everything will change. I will no longer be a clumsy awkward high-school student, I will be a clumsy awkward college student!
Its really amazing. The campus at UNA is beautiful. The image of the fountain above is the first thing I will see when entering the campus. (well, aside from the parking lot) and the image below is the GUC, where I shall be eating and checking my UNA Mailbox and stuff.
I am going to be living off campus, at the home I have lived in for the past 2 years, its about a 40 min drive. So, I am not going to experience dorm life, something I am thankful for. (who wants to share a bathroom with 50 other guys? not me!)
But now that I am in college, be expecting me to write more elegant intellectual posts, about philosophy and politics….NOT! No seriously, be expecting me to make little or no sense just like always.
