Old Dogs (3/5)

The basic premise is that Robin Williams finds out he has kids, and he (along with John Travolta) has to take care of them for two weeks.  Haven’t we seen this same plot many times before.  The whole film tries to get by on potty humor and jokes about Robin Williams and John Travolta being old.  Your going to see those two jokes many, many times.  Actually, I think every joke in this movie gets repeated at least once.  Occasionally, Seth Green will pop in and provide a bit of humor, but this is not nearly often enough.  (not funny enough)

However I must point out that Old Dogs is not a bad film…its just not a good film either.  Its ok.  It definitely does have its moments, and I would recommend renting it.  (if there is nothing better at the store)
